For the past week of me being here, the biggest highlight is the little moments me and peers have. For instance we had a belt fight. It may sound harsh but it was so fun, it was the fact that we could laugh and bond and not get mad. The low this week was having to find stuff to do after completing my work load early. The main thing sticking out to me about college is the grading system and usage of social programs such as blogger. In my Global Connection we are learning so much already. We have talked about Multiculturalism, Ethnocentrism, and how they impact America and other cultures. It was based around how we think our culture is better or how we try to conform others to American ways. Also how the standing question if American History is really American History. My English class has been focusing on literacy narratives and learning the correct way to edit papers. Also reading the syllables and learning do's and don'ts of the classroom. So far my learning is improving by challenging my organization and time management. I could improve my learning by asking more in class questions.
College is new
its responsibility,
like taking care of a pet
College is Fun,
your 21st birthday,
Football games,
Friday nights lights
College is growth,
Like an oak tree,
College is memories,
College is everlasting.

Alexius, I'm surprised you're finding that you have free time, but I don't think that will be the case once you have a full course load in the fall. Also, when the fall semester starts, more will be happening on campus, there will be more exercise classes, etc. offered to keep you busy. And yes, always ask questions. I think you'll find that most profs will appreciate that.
